With a 45-year career in marketing communications and behavioral sciences, Mike chose to focus his experience exclusively on bringing values-driven behavior to corporate America. In 2016 he authored Choosing Higher Ground as clarion call for us all to live lives of values-driven purpose . The book launched the Higher Ground Life movement whose principles guide all our efforts. Mike followed in 2023 with The Guidebook to Building Trusting Relationships that provides a roadmap for personal and professional growth.

Michael Metzler has a 40 year track record as the CEO of civil-sector organizations including a business trade association that built moral communities of concern for others. He applies his experience in directing all of HGL’s operations with the strategic goal of fostering greater trust and joy. He understands the true benefit of touching hearts and minds and drawing others into a shared climate for the purpose of achieving a better humanity.
